Sacrament of the Eucharist

So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day. "For My flesh is true food, and My blood is true drink. "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me.

The Eucharist completes the Sacraments of Initiation. It is the Body and Blood of Jesus Himself and food for our journey of faith. The Holy Eucharist is a sacrament and a sacrifice. In the Holy Eucharist, under the appearances of bread and wine, the Lord Christ is contained, offered, and received.

The whole Christ is really, truly, and substantially present in the Holy Eucharist. We use the words "really, truly, and substantially" to describe Christ's presence in the Holy Eucharist in order to distinguish Our Lord's teaching from that of mere men who falsely teach that the Holy Eucharist is only a sign or figure of Christ, or that He is present only by His power.The word "Eucharist" means "Thanksgiving."
Children and youth receive two years of instruction before receiving the Eucharist. Classes are also available for children and youth who are older and want to receive Communion.
Adults would participate in our RCIA program.

La Eucaristía completa los Sacramentos de Iniciación. Es el Cuerpo y la Sangre de Jesús mismo y alimento para nuestro viaje de fe. La Sagrada Eucaristía es un sacramento y un sacrificio. En la Sagrada Eucaristía, bajo las apariencias de pan y vino, el Señor Cristo es contenido, ofrecido y recibido.

Todo el Cristo está real, verdadera y sustancialmente presente en la Sagrada Eucaristía. Usamos las palabras "real, verdadera y sustancialmente" para describir la presencia de Cristo en la Sagrada Eucaristía para distinguir la enseñanza de Nuestro Señor de la de los simples hombres que enseñan falsamente que la Sagrada Eucaristía es solo un signo o una figura de Cristo, o que Él está presente solo por Su poder. La palabra "Eucaristía" significa "Acción de Gracias".
Los niños y los jóvenes reciben dos años de instrucción antes de recibir la Eucaristía. Las clases también están disponibles para niños y jóvenes que son mayores y quieren recibir la Comunión.
Los adultos participarían en nuestro programa RICA.
